Tasik Divers Komodo - The alternative to a liveaboard dive cruise
Yes it's true, diving in Komodo National Park is not just for liveaboards anymore. Tasik Divers Komodo offers one of most premium dive and stay packages in the area located in Labuan Bajo, also known as the gateway to some of the worlds best diving and infamous Komodo dragon.
Komodo area diving is known for adrenaline-pumping encounters with oceanic mantas, sharks, giant trevally, jack fish and other large pelagic species. There are also many sites for lovers of macro life including pigmy seahorses, frogfish, sea dragons and other tiny creatures. The area boasts more than 40 different dive sites.
How to get to Tasik Divers Komodo:
The best way to reach Labuan Bajo (LBJ) is by flying from Denpasar Bali (DPS). There are approximately eight flights running daily on the following operators:
|NAM Air||Boeing 737||20kg|
|Wings Air (Lion)||ATR-42||10kg|
|Garuda Indonesia||ATR-72||Free sport gear up to 32kg|
|Kal Star Aviation||Embraer 195||10kg|
Non-stop flights last about an hour, and all of our dive packages include transportation to/from the airport to our partner hotel La Prima located only 10 minutes away. Return airfare costs from $150-$300 depending upon advance booking and season. We will be happy to help book these internal flights for you as some carriers still do not accept foreign credit cards.
The Bandar Udara airport in Labuan Bajo was expanded and renovated back in 2014 but still has no food options. There is a decent souvenir shop and a vending machine for cold sodas or beer. The airport does not have any lounges or Wi-Fi.
